Cone beam technology provides a precise image of your mouth and facial structures for personalized dental treatment planning. Cone beam 3D imaging results in a three-dimensional model of your teeth, mouth, jaw, neck, ears, nose, and throat, giving us a comprehensive view of your oral structures. This technology can be used for a variety of purposes, including planning dental implant placement, evaluating jaw and face conditions, analyzing dental and facial trauma, and assessing orthodontic treatment progress, such as Invisalign® treatment and abnormal teeth visualization.

We use cone beam 3D imaging to provide a comprehensive view of your mouth and supporting structures, which is more detailed than standard X-rays. Additionally, we can use it in conjunction with our other advanced technologies such as CEREC and the 3D printer.

The Dentsply Sirona digital scanner takes high-quality three-dimensional images of your mouth, teeth, and supporting structures from all angles. These images can reveal details that may not be visible otherwise. Our dental team uses these images to identify problems, plan treatments, and create models of your mouth for restorations or other purposes. The captured images are fully colored to distinguish healthy and diseased areas that require attention. The digital models we create can ensure that your dentures or other oral appliances will fit perfectly.

During the scanning process, a small wand is passed over the inside of your mouth to capture images of your teeth and mouth. The images are processed and saved every few seconds for immediate viewing once the scan is complete. The process is comfortable and usually quick.

With the help of 3D digital imaging, our dental team can take precise impressions of the implant site and plan your implant placement procedure with great accuracy.

The surgical guide attaches to your jaw and teeth, enabling our team to place your implant in its ideal position for a more accurate treatment. This increased precision ensures a durable outcome for your oral health and smile.

Digital X-rays are a valuable tool in dentistry as they allow dentists to examine teeth roots and supporting structures that are not visible to the naked eye. Digital X-rays use no chemicals for development and less radiation than traditional X-rays, making them safer for patients. They also allow for immediate image processing and examination, which can be viewed on a monitor in the treatment room for better communication with the patient.

Digital X-rays can identify and diagnose several types of dental problems, such as decay between teeth, developmental abnormalities, improper positioning of tooth roots, cysts, and abscesses, compromised dental fillings, tumors, infections, and bone loss. They are also essential in planning many of the restorative procedures performed at our office, including dental implants and dentures.

Traditional dental crowns typically require multiple appointments to complete. However, with our state-of-the-art CEREC technology, we can provide you with a custom, beautiful dental crown in just one appointment. This ensure you save time and the discomfort of a temporary tooth while your dental crown is being created.

We use an advanced imaging system to create a digital impression of your mouth, which allows our dentist to design and craft your unique dental crown to ensure a comfortable, precise fit. With CEREC technology, your new crown can be created in just a few minutes.

During your appointment for a same-day dental crown, our dentist will:

– Thoroughly examine your teeth to determine whether a dental crown is a good treatment option for you.
– Remove any parts of the affected tooth that are weakened, decayed, or broken.
– Digitally scan your mouth to capture a high-quality image.
– Convert the image into a 3D model.
– Design your dental crown based on the 3D model.
– Create your dental crown using CEREC milling technology from a block of tooth-colored material.

Your new dental crown will be ready for placement as soon as the CEREC machine finishes creating it. Our dentist will fit the crown in your mouth and make any necessary adjustments to ensure that it feels comfortable and looks natural in your mouth.

Our dental team utilizes a 3D printer and state-of-the-art tools to create premium restorations for patients. This 3D printer allows us to quickly provide restorations that match your mouth as closely as possible, without having to wait weeks for them from a dental lab. The 3D printer creates restorations that are smooth and appear natural, making them look and feel good in your mouth. Some of the restorations that can be created include crowns, bridges, denture bases, and partial denture frameworks.

Before using the 3D printer, we create a 3D model of your mouth using our digital scanner. We then use that model to manufacture the restoration, making any adjustments that are needed to ensure the right fit for you.
